Man checking us in (I believe the assistant manager) was rude and dismissive. Elevators and lobby had a terrible smell present. Room was musky and poorly laid out. Asked about using the cinema, it was out dated (who has DVDs with them on holidays) and expensive. Lagoon pool was freezing, needs heating. We have been here several times, but this will likely be the last, frankly there are better places more competitively priced.

Very very dated

We stayed for 8 nights in April 2024. This is our 4th time staying at this hotel. The room we were given was clean but was very very dated. The furniture and bedding were old. There was only the bare essentials in the kitchen. Quite disappointing given that it wouldn't cost that much to give it a refresh. We also paid a lot of money to stay here and Pretty disappointed and in fact would not stay at this hotel again. It needs an overhaul.

Room was dated and worn but everything worked and beds were comfortable. The foyer on ground level, tower three had a disgusting smell but overall our experience was good at Mantra

Staff were very friendly. Location great. Ocean view room was good, could do with a lick of paint, but it was clean. All 3 verandahs used by the family. Well equipped kitchen for our needs. Unit was a bit smaller than I expected but it was comfortable.
