It was kind of basic though our room was large and spacious. Amenities were OK. Gym was small. The location is good. There were shops and restaurants around. The river view was beautiful. I suppose you can view the sunset from here, but the clouds were blocking when we were there. Will we book it again? Maybe not.

I enjoyed my stay at the Sofitel in Broadbeach, the location was very central and close to the beach and shopping area. The pool area was lovely with great views and the service was great especially from the concierges. A couple of things I found disappointing were the bed, it was not comfortable, too hard, which made for a difficult nights sleep. Also, having to pay for parking was not expected, but overall understandable.

Hotel is very rundown - would be a great Mercure but not worthy of the Sofitel brand. Poor maintenance and facilities, no Club Millesime
