Beds on the old side but Just ok, being creaky & humped in middle. Room generally good. But 2 of 4 lifts operating.....that was poor, and unfortunate/ unnecessary.

However, I apologize for the issues you encountered with the beds and the lifts. Your comfort is our priority, and it is concerning to learn that the bed was not up to standard. We will look into replacing the older beds to ensure a more comfortable stay for our guests. Regarding the lifts, I understand how inconvenient it was to have only two out of four operating. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will address this issue to prevent future occurrences. Rooms tired and grubby. One night, room was not made up at 5pm and had to request service while out for diner. Balconies - do you ever clean the cob webs? Tepee greeting on arrival was great by the American conserege - excellent Not a Sofitel standard. More of an Ibis or Mercure

The staff are great, but the hotel is very dated for a Sofitel brand. I’ve stayed at other Sofitel locations before which were far more superior. This one has a dated building, dated rooms, bathrooms etc. it needs a modern renovation!

The Sofitel was a lovely place to stay, close to the beach,shops and many restaurants. The room was comfortable, bathroom well appointed and buffet breakfast had a huge variety to choose from. Really enjoyed our stay and we will be back.
