Itinerary

Day 1 | Depart Adelaide / Narungga Culture / Walk The Yorke trail

Your journey starts at 7:30am from Adelaide.

The 300km journey to our base in Yorke Peninsula includes stops for morning tea and a freshly prepared lunch. Along the way we learn a little about Narungga Culture and you are Welcomed to Country.

Then, we hit the ‘Walk the Yorke’ trail. A beautiful and remote section on the western coastline. You will follow a pretty inland trail through a Conservation Park and a sandy beach protected by reef.

We continue to our accommodation to enjoy sundowners, followed by a wholesome dinner.

Meals Included: Lunch, Trail Snacks, 2 Course Dinner
Walking Distance: 10km

Day 2 | Walk the Yorke trail / Inneston

This morning after breakfast, we follow the WTY trail from Marion Bay to Stenhouse Bay.

This walk is along a variety of beach, coastal trail and quiet streets. The views along this trail are stunning and show the rugged coastline of Dhilba Guuranda – Innes National Park.

Once at Stenhouse Bay you will enjoy a picnic lunch with a view. After lunch you can choose to relax or join our guided historical walk to Stenhouse Bay Lookout. This historical walk is about 2km long and returns back to our picnic spot.

Then we continue our journey along the WTY trail to Inneston. Once here you will have time to wander the old buildings and township at your leisure.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Trail Snacks, 2 Course Dinner
Walking Distance: up to 14km

Day 3 | Walk The Yorke trail / Drive to Adelaide

Today we venture to beautiful Pondalowie Bay.

With islands off the coast we follow the WTY trail along a gorgeous surf beach. Listening to the pounding surf, and spotting surfers and resident dolphins in the water.

Then hopping on to our minibus we visit some more amazing sites within the National Park. Including short walks to Ethel Wreck and the West Cape Lighthouse. You might meet a few emus today too if you are lucky.

Our journey back to Adelaide includes a visit to a local winery for tastings, cheese platters and a light lunch.

Fulfilled, we arrive back in Adelaide at approximately 5pm.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Trail Snacks
Walking Distance: 4km
