Enjoy a wine tasting at our award-winning Barossa Valley Cellar Door
Our Cellar Door is open 7 days and a range of tasting experiences are available – from a casual wine tasting looking out over our 1894 Command Vineyard, to a hosted tasting in one of our private tasting rooms. Read below for details on each of the wine tasting experiences available.

Elderton Estate Tasting Flight
A casual, introductory tasting hosted at the bar where you are invited to explore four wines of your choice from across our Estate range. Choose from Eden Valley Riesling, Eden Valley Chardonnay, Semillon, GSM, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Golden Semillon.
$10 per person, redeemable upon wine purchase, on a per person basis.
Suitable for small groups of up to 4 people only.
Tasting offered on a walk-in basis only and subject to availability.

EXCEPTIONAL ELDERTON EXPERIENCE
A premium tasting experience hosted by Jodhi, Melissa, Carolyn or Fiona. Seated comfortably in our stunning Cellar Door, this bespoke tasting flight begins with your choice of four wines from our Estate range, before exploring our two Exceptional Sites wines, the very special Neil Ashmead Grand Tourer Shiraz and Ode to Lorraine Cabernet/Shiraz/Merlot.
$25 per person
Bookings highly recommended. 45 minute tasting experience for up to 4 people.

SMALL VICTORIES TASTING FLIGHT
If you are interested in alternative varietals, vibrant white wines and lighter style red wines, this is the tasting for you!
Seated in our stunning Cellar Door, we invite you to enjoy a premium tasting experience featuring the Ashmead family’s Small Victories Wine Co range. In this tasting flight you can choose to taste up to seven wines, including sparkling, white wines, rosé and red wines.
$25 per person

CHOCOLATE AND WINE MATCHING
A seated, decadent wine tasting featuring four wines paired with premium chocolates produced by one of Australia’s master chocolate makers, allowing you to make up your own mind as to the best chocolate to serve with wines of the Barossa.
$30 per person
Bookings required, 2-6 people. Allow 45 minutes.
COMMAND VERTICAL TASTING EXPERIENCE
Join us for a very special curated tasting vertical of four vintages of our Command Shiraz. This is your opportunity to see how four consecutive vintages from 2017 -2020 have evolved and translate to the glass.
$75 per person

TASTE, SET & MATCH
Perfect for a small group of 4-6 people to enjoy a day in the life of Elderton! Start with a private wine tasting experience, followed by a friendly tennis match on our grass court at Cellar Door, with a cheese plate and wine to share.
$75 per person
Bookings essential, minimum 4 people, maximum 6 people. Allow 2.5-3 hours.

Elite Tasting Experience
A unique and personalised wine tasting which offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a more in depth tasting with an exclusive look at the history and heritage of Elderton Wines. Visit the 120+ year old Command vineyard, and taste many of the elite wines in our range alongside back vintage examples in a private tasting room with a selection of locally crafted cheeses.
$125 per person
Bookings essential, 2-6 people. Allow 1.5 hours.
BEHIND THE VINES TASTING
The ultimate wine tasting experience for discerning wine lovers. An authentic experience that will give you the opportunity to visit and taste at three exceptional estate vineyards before returning to the winery for a tour and barrel tasting.
$400 per person
Bookings essential, 2-4 people. Allow 3 hours.
GROUP TASTING EXPERIENCES
WE WELCOME GROUPS OF 5 PEOPLE OR MORE BY PRIOR BOOKING ONLY. Our group wine tasting experiences are bespoke, seated tastings which are hosted in a private tasting room accommodating up to 10 people. They are ideal for groups of wine focused individuals who are interested in a premium wine experience with the view to purchase wines to enjoy at home or for their personal cellar.
