Event description
Celebrating LGBTQIA+ stories from around the world, join us for an evening of great short films with common threads across queer identities and desires shaped by the world in which one lives.
The films will be introduced by the curator, award winning queer filmmaker Craig Boreham. So come down for a drink at the Pavilion bar, overlooking famous Bondi Beach, grab some popcorn and settle in for an evening of the best of short films from around the globe by LGBTQIA+ filmmakers at this special screening in celebration of WorldPride.
Flickerfest is Australia’s only Academy® Qualifying & BAFTA Qualifying short film festival.
Rainbow Shorts, curated by Flickerfest International Short Film Festival is presented by Waverley Council as part of Pride Amplified.
This collection of shorts contains nudity, drug use, themes of violence, strong language and is recommended for mature audiences 16 years+ Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
