Capertee Accommodation at the Royal Hotel Capertee is a traditional country-style hotel located on the top of the great dividing range next to the Capertee Valley, the world's widest canyon.  This Capertee Accommodation is a popular place to stay for guests wanting to explore Capertree Valley wildlife, birds, hiking trails and off-road biking tracks. 

Accommodation on offer at Royal Hotel Capertee includes 4 types of rooms such as Single, Twin, Double and Family rooms.  All our rooms are non-smoking and include fresh linen & towels, and heating. All guests have access to male and female shared bathrooms.The Hotel Bistro serves delicious traditional Australian lunches and dinners in the dining room and out on the deck where guests can enjoy the fresh air.  The hotel also has a bar which offers a variety of range of Australian beers and wines including some local specialities from Mudgee. Alcohol is available for purchase from the bar to drink on the premises and also to take away for a picnic or to enjoy in-room.

Capertee is a mountain village located 800 metres above sea level and surrounded by National Parks and grazing land. The Capertee district is rich in natural wonders and this has been recognized with the establishment of several local reserves, most notably Wollemi, Turon, Capertee and Gardens of Stone National Parks. The most recent addition to the protected Crown Lands portfolio in the area is the Mugii Murrum-ban State Conservation Area.

Noise Curfew
Out of respect for our neighbours, there is a curfew for noise (loud talking and music) of 10.30 pm throughout the entire Hotel. Please keep other noise to a minimum such as banging of doors, talking outside room, etc, after this time and before 8am in the morning.

INNKEEPERS ACT (ACT NO. 24, 1968, SECTION 7)

LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO GUESTS’ PROPERTYUnder the innkeepers’ act 1968, an innkeeper may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest’s property even though it was not due to any fault of the innkeeper or any servant in his employ.This liability however –
  • Extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the inn;
  • Is limited to one hundred dollars to any one guest except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for deposit, for safe custody;
  • Does not cover any motor-vehicle or other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.
