What’s the ins & outs?

-You'll receive a Holiday Gift Voucher for a 3 NIGHTS LUXURY HOTEL OR RESORT STAY once McGee has received your initial 25% deposit/ booking fee. If you have paid via credit card, McGee will send the voucher once payment has cleared. The voucher will be sent via email with booking instructions. Please allow up to 10 working days for your voucher to be sent through upon paying your deposit

-If you cancel your booking with McGee [for whatever reason] you will keep your Holiday Gift Voucher, however, a $100 + GST holiday cancellation fee is applicable, in addition to any normal cancellation fees that pertains to your booking. You can view our full terms & conditions here

-The Holiday Gift Voucher is only available on The All Inclusive Reception Package [6-hours] or The Complete Wedding Entertainment Package [8-hours] or any other wedding package 6 hours or more on Thursday to Sunday rates. It can be booked for any Artist and any arrangement from solo through to 8-piece+

-To enjoy the complimentary accommodation, you are required to pay the nightly fees & taxes per room for that destination, which are from AUD$37.00 per night. For example, if you were to stay at a Gold Coast resort for 3 nights & the nightly “fees & taxes” were $37.00, you’d pay $37.00 x 3 nights = AUD$111.00. Keep in mind that the rack rate for the resort is likely to be $200 to $300 per night, depending upon the season – so 3 nights might normally be valued at AUD$600 - $1,000 plus fees & taxes. The fees & taxes are a hospitality industry standard & entail, but are not limited to – federal services tax based on the full rack rate of the accommodation, local tourism & bed taxes, travel agency fees, local or municipal taxes etc. However, once you have paid this, McGee will reimburse you for this expense up to $100 AUD via bank transfer. A reimbursement form will be sent through to you at the time McGee sends your voucher. You will need to show your bank transaction as proof that this was paid. Please allow 10 working days for your reimbursement to be processed back into your bank account once you have submitted the form back to McGee

-There are NO timeshare presentations required to use this vacation voucher or any other hoops you'll need to jump through to redeem

-There are understandably “some peak vacation periods” where the hotels & resorts are traditionally full or near-full – so they won’t have rooms available or perhaps there may be a modest surcharge (eg: School Holidays)

-The user must reside at least 160 kilometres away from the destination resort of choice

-Travel to & from your chosen hotel or resort is not included

-The incentive is valid for a reservation request offering Luxurious Resort/Hotel Accommodations in your choice of destinations provided by RedeemVacations.com. Most rooms are for 2 to 4 occupants based on room type and availability and at least one occupant must be at least 21 years of age. So in most hotels, you can enjoy “a family vacation.” Nonetheless, we cannot guarantee that ALL hotels will cater for children. "Some" hotels choose not to, it’s a case of selecting hotels or resorts that suit your circumstances. The main reservation holder must also have a Major Credit or a Bank Debit Card with a Visa or Mastercard logo, plus a valid government-issued ID to check-in

-The recipient of this incentive will receive luxury hotel accommodation room rate free of charge, which retail is valued at up to AUD $350 per night. However, the recipient is responsible for all other expenses, including but not limited to: airfare, transfers, food & beverages, gratuities, resort fees if applicable and any other personal or miscellaneous expenses. If applicable, the resort fees will be disclosed when choosing a hotel and preferred travel dates. (Resort fees cover items like WiFi Internet Access, Local Calls, & Resort amenities.)

-Once you do this, you’ll receive an email from  Redeem Vacations, notifying you of the need to “activate” your voucher by paying the booking & service fees within 7 days

-Travel can be completed within 18 months after activation. So you can select your hotel & travel at any time within 18 months -it's just the destination you need to choose upfront (eg: Sydney). Once you’ve chosen your “destination” & paid your Booking & Service Fees, you cannot change your destination

-All reservations require a minimum of 30 days advance notice to book. Reservations are based on availability and understandably rooms are less likely to be available at peak vacation periods like Easter, Christmas & School Holidays. Check-in is available 7 days a week. Most resorts won’t have availabilities during the busy Christmas & school holiday periods – in other words, they don’t have an empty rooms to give away. In the case of the 3 Night Holidays, it’s recommended that people choose nights between Sunday - Thursday – if one wants to include a “peak night” like Friday & Saturday, there’s a modest surcharge as determined by the hotel which can range from AUD $40 - AUD $70 per night. Why? Because Fridays & Saturdays are busy days & therefore the resorts don’t have many empty rooms available

-Cancellations after dates are confirmed will result in forfeiture of the activation fees. (The inventory used for these rooms are not as flexible as booking at regular retail rack rates, so once confirmed, changes will not be allowed and cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of fees paid)

-This incentive has no cash surrender value, void if discontinued and were prohibited by law. The terms of this offer are subject to change without notice.
