WHICH ONE WILL YOU DO?
Riders will enjoy a weekend away, challenging themselves each day on some of Australia’s best trails, but once the riding stops, you will have just as much fun off the bike with friends and family to enjoy these beautiful tourism destinations.
Each event is an intro to the concept of stage racing, with short but challenging stages, packed with the best single track in each region, and only needing an average degree of fitness to complete.
Our course designs are meant to create fun riding, with a lot of riders from our first series calling our events more like “Enduro/XC races”, thanks to the high percentage of flowing single trail and a lack of long, boring gravel road grinds in each stage.
Each event has been curated to pair the best locations with the best trails, creating an awesome weekend away riding with mates. And to top it off we guarantee that the social side of the event will be just as much fun as the riding!
Podium glory is also done differently at these events. Our search to crown the best Weekend Warrior uses a unique handicap system at each event, designed to recognise the riders who races to the best of their own ability. In effect each rider races themselves and then one who rides to the best of their ability tops the rankings each day!
Best of all, most people will only need to take no more than one day off work to attend each event (rather than a whole week of leave to do most of the major XC Stage Races).

The Sunny 80 is coming up fast, with 2.5 days of mountain biking on Queensland`s Sunshine Coast. We`re riding three different trail networks with a bunch of singletrack and plenty of time to hang out.
We`ve got venues booked for post-ride social functions, and courses set that will keep the fast kids on their toes while letting the rest of us enjoy a some time on the trails.

Our Queensland event takes you to three popular mountain bike hot spots on the Sunshine Coast, with snaking lines of singletrack that are a hoot to ride and plenty of fun to race for the fast crew.
Each day is different, from the compact network for Friday afternoon`s short prelude, the to variety of trails at Parklands on Saturday and the Ferny Forest goodness on Sunday.

Canberra is dry and anywhere between -2 and 16 degrees, and Hobart is grey with maximums in the mid-teens. Which is actually quite good for Hobart!
But the Sunshine Coast in Queensland? You`re looking at 11-24 degrees, sunny days and maybe some coastal showers on a day or two.
