What should I bring for my stay?

Preparing for a holiday can be a massive journey in itself, at Reflections Holiday Parks our aim is to ensure guests are as well equipped as possible before hitting the open road.

Copeton Dam has an onsite Kiosk open 9am to 5pm daily offering basic grocery’s, fuel, ice, ice-creams and cold drinks. A delicious selection of hot food available from 9 am to 2:30 pm daily.

What is in the camp kitchen at Copeton Waters Holiday Park?

Located within the Jaycee Park precinct, the camp kitchen is conveniently located near the powered sites and cabins. With a great community atmosphere, a fire pit just outside and a plentiful seating area, the camp kitchen provides an undercover area for you to cook, relax and meet other guests. Although you will need to bring your own essentials, the camp kitchen has fridges, electric BBQ’s, ZIP hot water and a double sink at your disposal.

Can I bring my own BBQ/firepit/campfire?

Although there are BBQ’s and communal firepits conveniently dotted around the cabins and powered site areas, you are welcome to have your own BBQ or campfire on your site (rules apply).

  • Guests must comply with fire restrictions imposed by the Park Manager/Fire Authority,
  • Campfires must be contained in a fire pit and always attended,
  • Firepits must be up off the ground,
  • Firewood can be purchased from the kiosk or outside the park,
  • Fires must be completely extinguished after use).
  • No chainsaws may be used
What activities are available?

If you are not yet exhausted from discovering the natural environment and dam, there are plenty of activities for the kids and kids at heart. If fishing and water sports are not enough to fill your day, there is also a splash park, 3 playgrounds for the kids as well as a BMX track, mountain bike trails, two tennis courts and a golf course for the more adventurous! If a slower pace is more your style, there are many bushwalking tracks or fossicking. Bring your boat/water craft, pushbikes and zest for the outdoors.

What facilities are available at Copeton Waters Holiday Park?

Copeton Waters has two main powered sections – Jaycee Park and Copeton Bay. The Northcott Centre is where reception, the kiosk and conference centre are located. There is also a splash park and the main playground.

Jaycee Park includes cabins, powered sites, amenities (with laundry), cooking facilities (camp kitchen and communal BBQ’s and fire pits), and Bunkhouse for large groups.

Copeton Bay has both powered sites and unpowered camping, amenities (with laundry), a playground and communal BBQ’s.

Do you sell fuel?

Reflections Copeton Waters has Diesel, Regular and Premium ULP and gas bottle refill available for purchase.

How do I purchase a day pass or annual pass?

If you have a stay booked at Copeton Waters, we provide you an access code to enter the park. Each booking includes an access code for one vehicle (additional vehicles require their own access code at a small fee).

For day visitors, a Day pass can be purchased from the office during office hours (9am to 5pm). You can enter the park using the generic code on the boom gate, but you will not be able to exit without stopping by the office first to get a day pass. The office is conveniently located right next to the boom gate. For regular day trippers, an annual pass (valid for 12 months) may be more convenient.

All access codes expire at 10pm.

What does unpowered camping consist of and can I bring a generator?

You are spoilt for choice at Copeton Waters. There are multiple areas to camp unpowered and we do not allocate you a specific site. You are free pick your own piece of nature and set up where you feel comfortable. If you still require some creature comforts, you may run a generator during the day (8am to 10pm only). Water taps are scattered throughout the unpowered camping areas as well as in the camp kitchen and amenities blocks.
