House Rules

Please help us keep Uralla safe and operational so we can continue to welcome guests:

- Make sure none of the heaters including the central heating vents are covered with anything as this can be a fire hazard.

- Ensure all heaters, electric blankets and lights are turned off when you leave.

- Close and lock all windows and doors each time you go out.

- No adults on the bunks, they are only rated for kids.

- Linen is not provided for the travel cot and we ask that all guests using it bring at least a bottom sheet of their own.

- Keep the BBQ clean and covered when not in use, and ensure the umbrella on the deck is down and secured with the strap.

- No glass around the pool area, keep the pool gate shut and ensure children are supervised.

- Please don't use the fireplace, there are many heating options that are more effective and safer.

- If you break something or notice a problem, let us know (that's why we have insurance).

- Please respect our neighbours and the peaceful community of West Bathurst.

Congratulations!

The space
Uralla has everything you need for a comfortable and special stay with a long list of thoughtfully appointed amenities.

Downstairs there's a modern and well-equipped kitchen for you to cook or bake-up a storm, with an open-plan casual breakfast room brimming with natural light. Nespresso coffee and tea facilities plus basic pantry essentials are provided.

A formal dining room with a reading and games area adjoins as does a separate spacious living room overlooking the garden with huge couch and 65" TV with Netflix and Kayo included.

Down the long hallway are three bedrooms, one with ensuite, as well as the master bathroom with bathtub.

In the upstairs retreat are two more large bedrooms, an ensuite and walk-through robe.

All the beds have comfy pillows, warm doonas and electric blankets (other than bunk and sofa beds) to keep you cosy in the cooler months. White cotton linen is professionally laundered, and bathrooms are stocked with lovely hand soap and body wash.

There are multiple heating and cooling options in each room including split-system, ducted heating downstairs, oil heaters and fans.

Enjoy the garden while having lunch on the deck, read a book in the cabana by the pool or go for a swim in the warmer months.

For your peace of mind Uralla is professionally cleaned after each guest.
Guest access
You'll have uninterrupted private access to the whole property to enjoy during your stay.
Additional notes
The pool is unheated so is only for the brave in cooler months but warms up naturally during summer.

We do not make up the trundle bed (floor mattress) or sofa bed by default for bookings of less than 11 guests. You'll have an opportunity to request they be made up for fewer guests in a pre-arrival booking form.
Guest interaction
We're available to offer help over email/phone throughout your stay and have a great team of local tradesmen who can attend the property in person.
Neighborhood overview
Get ready to be charmed:
Bathurst might be the spiritual home of motor racing in Australia, but the famed Mount Panorama circuit isn’t the only drawcard of this thriving regional centre. A rich goldfields history, spectacular limestone caves and a year-long program of events and festivals make this Central Tablelands town a must-see.

Family fun:
From playing with an enormous toy railway to panning for gold, the Bathurst region is a giant playground for families.

Unexpected romance:
Whatever your interests – wine, art, music, food or history – Bathurst comes up roses as a romantic getaway destination.

History & heritage:
This is where Australia's famous gold rush got off the ground. When gold was first discovered in the early 1850s it drew people from far and wide. The world’s largest piece of reef gold was found in the Hill End goldfields. Visit the smaller gold rush towns of Hill End and Sofala to see what life was like for prospectors who were trying their luck.
Getting around
The centre of Bathurst's CBD is a 15 min walk or 3 min drive away. Mount Panorama is an 8 min drive away. Parking is plentiful at the property and in town.

Walking through town while exploring the beautiful heritage buildings and parks is a great way to spend the afternoon!
