Cooke Park (Short Street), Kelly Reserve (Newell Highway North), Rotary Park at Memorial Hill (Bushman Street) and Lions Park (Orange Road) offering accessible amenities and picnic facilities with well appointed playgrounds and BBQs.

Off-leash Pet Area - Bushman Street (East)

The off-leash area utilises the most south easterly portion of Spicer Park. This area is approximately 3 hectares in area.  It is fenced on two sides and has a large embankment on a third side.  Toilet facilities are provided across Bushman Street. A waste bin is provided at the Bushman Street entrance to the area.

Here are some tips to follow when you are in public with your animal companion:

  1. Ensure your pet is safely contained
  2. Ensure your pet is not a nuisance
  3. Scoop the poop

Peak Hill

Both Memorial Park (cnr Caswell and Ween Streets) and Commercial Gardens (cnr Caswell and Dugga Streets) offer amenities and BBQ/picnic facilities. Commercial Gardens is also the NSW TrainLink Coach Connection location.

Trundle

Berryman Oval (Parkes Street) has amenities and BBQ facilities available.

Tullamore

Memorial Park (Cardigan Street) offers amenities and BBQ facilities, picnic shelter and play equipment.

Do you want to book a park?

If you wish to hold a function at one of Parkes Shire Council's parks, please download and complete the Application for Use of Park  and return to Council for approval. For major functions, please contact Council on 02 6861 2333 to discuss requirements as planning approval in the form of a Section 68 permit may be required.
