Welcome Dear Motoring Enthusiasts everyone here at the Wagga Wagga veteran and Vintage Motor Club Inc, would like to extend a warm welcome to all this year’s Entrants in our Annual June Rally.
Whether you are a regular who attends every year, or a first time entrant, we hope you enjoy spending the weekend with old friends and new, travelling our country roads and enjoying our hospitality. Of course, the Rally wouldn’t happen without the hard work of every dedicated Rally Committee who have helped to bring this rally together for you all. We have only very recently moved into some temporary accommodation while our new clubs are being built, so we hope that all goes smoothly for everyone.
If there any concerns or issues, please make them known to one of the Wagga Members who will contact the appropriate Committee Members. We would like for this Rally to be just as much fun as every other that we have hosted in the past. Enjoy your stay in Wagga Wagga. We have been having quite a bit of rain, so we hope that makes for a very scenic weekend and the weather is kind this weekend.
Once again, welcome, have a great time and travel safely.

2021
The June Rally is an annual event hosted by the Wagga Wagga Veteran & Vintage Motor Club Inc. held on the Queens Birthday long weekend. It attracts around 150 entries comprising veteran, vintage, post war and classic vehicles and motorcycles from the early 1900’s to the 30 year cutoff.
Entrants register on Friday evening at the clubrooms, collecting their rally packs. On Saturday, entrants will depart from the clubrooms for a morning run that will end up back at Coolamon for lunch. This is an opportunity to view the vehicles and vote for the various trophy categories.
To guide the entrants, marshals are located at some corners within the Wagga Wagga urban area. Once in the bush, brightly painted crow signs define the route (Wagga Wagga is, after all, the “place of many crows”). After lunch, entrants will proceed to an afternoon tea venue, then back to Wagga Wagga for an evening to catch up with friends, and have a barbecue back at the club rooms for dinner.
Sunday events start early with a short run to a soup stop. June in Wagga Wagga can be bitterly cold and so hot soup and bread can be a welcome sight. There is always a volunteer available to prise a motor cyclist’s fingers off the handlebars. After soup, entrants will proceed to town via Mangoplah Road for lunch and vehicle display at the Range Function Centre
The presentation dinner is held on the Sunday evening.
Trophies are presented for:
- Best Veteran and Vintage Motorcycle (pre 31 December 1931)
- Best Post Vintage and fifties Motorcycle (1931 to 31 December 1959)
- Best 60’s 70’s and 80’s Motorcycle (1960 to 31 December 1991)
- Best Veteran and Vintage Car (pre 31 December 1931)

2020
CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19
Another successful rally with excellent feedback received.
We visited the RAAF museum at Forest Hill on Saturday morning, back to the clubrooms for lunch, then on to Mangoplah via The Rock for afternoon tea.
On Sunday, it was off to Rannock via Coolamon for the soup stop, then on to Temora for lunch at the Temora Public School. Entrants visited the Aircraft Museum, private military collection, Rural Museum and second hand shop.
The presentation dinner was again held at the Rules Club.
2018
Thank you to all club members for helping to make the 2018 rally such an outstanding success. There has been some very positive feedback coming in to committee members.
Here is an example:
“We enjoyed this years rally in the slightly different format to previous years. We enjoyed the longer runs and the new venues for meals, especially the lunch on Saturday provided at the Tumbarumba Bowling Club. Also, the opportunity to have a good browse around the town before lunch was also a highlight as many of the rally entrants had not been to this location before.
The afternoon tea stop at the Vietnam Veterans retreat was very poignant and again was a significant part of the weekend. As usual, the soup stop on Sunday morning was a high light and the warm soup on those cooler mornings is always welcome…
As a club, keep up the great work and we look forward to next year with interesting runs and activities. Thank you and best regards to all the committee for a great job.”
