The Homestead at Adelong Farm sleeps ten.

This spacious, elegant, breath-taking, warm and inviting accommodation is an architecturally-designed, contemporary homestead, sitting on a 3,000 acre family-owned sheep and cattle property, just 15kms east of Bathurst, off the Great Western Highway.

The Homestead is the perfect choice for a sought-after weekend escape with friends and family, a special occasion gathering or small wedding, or a convenient, beautiful retreat. The Homestead is easy to access and a world away from life’s stresses.

Built with indoor and outdoor entertaining and comfort in mind, The Homestead can accommodate ten guests across four queen bedrooms and a reading room with a comfortable pull-out couch bed.

A large, central open-plan central grand room invites day-dreaming with floor-to-ceiling picture windows giving panoramic views across surrounding farmlands.

Bedrooms: Sleep peacefully in one of 4 queen bedrooms or our fold-out couch (double bed). Sleeps 10. All linen provided. Exceptional quality, soft, luxurious and pristine clean.

Bathrooms: 3 spacious bathrooms; main bathroom has a luxurious soak tub. Bathroom products provided: liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.

Main living: Large open-plan room with TV/entertainment system, wood fire, adjacent dining setting, breakfast nook, and stunning surround-views.

Kitchen: Full kitchen + butler’s pantry. Large oven + cooktop, dishwasher, 2 x fridge/freezers, crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, platters.

Games room: Separate games room with pool table, couches, wood fire, TV/entertainment system, family board games, cards, chess, lots of books for all ages.

Reading room: with fold-out double-bed. This quiet retreat room has a TV, comfortable couches, books and board games.

Office: Private, neatly appointed office with desk, chair and power.

BBQ + Firepit: Set for entertaining with BBQ, outdoor dining setting and fire pit.

Communication: Free WiFi. Excellent mobile coverage.

Coffee/tea: pod coffee machine, kettle, selection of coffee pods, teas and tisanes.

Electrical/Entertainment: TV in each room (all bedrooms, main living, reading and games room). Free WiFi. Netflix.

Heating & Cooling: 2 x wood fires, underfloor heating, air-conditioning, ceiling fans.Double glazing throughout provides expansive views from every room, whilst maintaining a comfortable temperature inside.

Linen: All linen is provided including sheets, towels, doonas, pillows, and tea towels

Laundry: A full laundry is provided, with front-loading washing machine, clothes-dryer, iron, ironing board, plenty of additional linen and washing detergent.

Outdoors: An external wraparound verandah flows onto level lawns, with an entertaining/BBQ area and fire pit in the backyard.

Pool & gym: an outdoor heated swimming pool and small gym are located at the owner’s nearby residence (5mins drive) and are available for guest use.

Flexible spaces: A well-finished, double garage, has been built to allow easy transformation into a small function space.

Catering: We are happy to recommend talented local caterers perfect for catering special occasions, chatter platters and delicious meals for a crowd.

Farm surrounds: This boutique accommodation is located on a working sheep and cattle property, with all the interest and activity associated with farming. Around the property guests will find well-defined nature reserves, and walking tracks for easy access, and enjoyment.

Celebrating four seasons: From this wonderful facility, we invite you to experience the Central West’s four distinct seasons, watch sunsets and sunrises of unique beauty. Enjoy proximity to the historic city of Bathurst, with its many cafes, restaurants, museums, and, of course, renowned Mount Panorama-Wahluu. Around Bathurst there is much to enjoy, with wineries, gin distilleries, parks, gardens, tourism attractions and museums.
