Take a Trip on the Wild Side

An iconic destination, the Far West of SA is a little rough; a little rugged - an adventure you must prepare for, but will never forget. Travel respectfully and connect to our region at a deeper level, just as the locals do.

Our day tours from Ceduna take visitors to the Warna Manda coastal parks of the Far West of South Australia. Warna meaning ‘sea’, and Manda meaning ‘ground’ or ‘sand’ in the Wirangu Language.

We also offer day tours up past the dingo fence to Goog's Lake along the iconic 4WD track, into a remote landscape of mallee woodland, red sandhills, salt lakes, rock holes, and granite outcrops. For budding offroaders, we offer tag-along tours.

Our capability also includes remote access and research project support.

During the whale season (July, August, September) we also offer special cliff top whale watching tours from the iconic Bunda Cliffs.

Short Adventures

Our tours explore undisturbed coastal dune systems with associated samphire community and mallee woodland, or explore the edge of South Australia’s largest and most intact protected area landscape north of the dingo fence. The ecosystems provide important habitat for rare, endangered and endemic plants and animals.

There are unparalleled photography and bird watching opportunities, and we may be lucky to see native animals including wombats, and kangaroos. When coastal plants flower and fruit, they add an extra dimension and interest in a semi-arid landscape.

Southern Right Whale at the Head of Bight

Our cliff-top whale watching tour on the Bunda Cliffs run from July to September.

Call us for a special 2-day Southern Right Whale package, observing whales by air, by boat, and from land.
