Free Sydney History Walking Tour
Pay what you feel! We let you decide what the tour is worth at the end of the tour!
Service Description
Join our free history walking tour of Sydney's CBD! This means pay what you feel the tour is worth at the end! Usually people tip at least $10. But if you can't afford it or felt like it sucked, then it's on the house! Whether you are a local or an international tourist, this tour will give you narrative driven stories of both Sydney, and Australia's past. We stop by many of Sydney's most iconic sites (including the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, and the Botanical Gardens). You will get the chance to learn about Sydney's (and Australia's) rich history chronologically from 200,000 BC to 2,000 AD. Our knowledgeable guides will take you on a journey through time, sharing captivating stories of Australia's key characters. We promise not to throw boring facts and dates at you. Length: 3 hours (including a 20min break at a local cafe) Distance: 4.04 kilometres (2.5 miles) Age Level: All ages are welcome but we recommend the tour for ages 12 years and above due to some of the very heavy historical content discussed. Accessibility: Email us to discuss. It is not wheelchair accessible due to the topography of the Rocks, but we hope to offer a more accessible event in the future with an alternative route. Language: English
