Property Description

Seaview Getaway – beachfront family holiday house. Sleeps 4-6.

Fantastic family home straight across South Beach, where kids and pets can run free. Quiet setting. Suitable for couples or small family. The ocean sounds and views make you instantly relax. Surfing, swimming, fishing, hiking, whale watching, all within 3 min. walk or drive. Upstairs, laundry and garage is available to guests, downstairs is used by owners for storage. You will have the house to yourselves. Pet friendly for small dogs only, pre-approval required, yard is not fenced. Free WIFI.

THE SPACE
All living and sleeping areas are upstairs on the first level. The open plan living and dining open up to both a front and back balcony. The house is light and airy and is decorated with local prints and beach style art works. It breathes good vibes. The three bedrooms and modern bathroom are down the hallway. Two bedrooms have ocean views and sliding doors onto the front verandah. Clothing racks and/or drawers in each room are provided for storage.
The front verandah has lounge and Adirondack chairs. The back verandah has a hooded gas BBQ and small alfresco dining table, an outdoor staircase leads to be unfenced backyard with clothes line. The laundry with washing machine and dryer is accessible through the garage downstairs.
The owners and their families holiday here during the year and share their love for the area with you.


COFFEE, BBQ, WIFI Modern conveniences are provided: a Kafee coffee machine (buy pods from Aldi), hooded gas BBQ, TV with DVD player, free WIFI.



OCEAN BREEZE There is always a pleasant ocean breeze, just open the windows and sliding doors.



PARKING Single lock up garage and free street parking. Plenty of space for boats. The garage and laundry are spacious enough to store surf boards and other fun equipment.



PET FRIENDLY Pets are allowed with pre-approval from the property manager only. Just chat to us about your needs and inform us about the type, breed and age of the pet you like to bring as courtesy to the property owners, for our statistics and planning. Preference for small dogs. Pets to be kept off furniture and beds.


PRIVACY + ACCESS Guest have access to the upstairs 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom part of the house, the lock up garage and laundry located internally next to the garage.

ACCESS Other downstairs areas used for storage by the owners. Please note you will have the house fully to yourselves, upstairs and downstairs will never be occupied together.
Guest need to walk up the outside stairs to reach the living level on the first floor.

IMPORTANT
You cannot check-in/check-out on Xmas day 25 December, please adapt your dates, as this is our only day off during the year. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

How to reach the property

FROM SYDNEY/SOUTH and/or BRISBANE/NORTH take the M1 North towards Newcastle/Taree/Brisbane. Take the Kew/Laurieton exit and start following coastal route 10. You will pass through Lakewood (big Woolworth supermarket on your left), at Laurieton keep driving through Laurieton towards Dunbogan. Cross over the bridge to Dunbogan and then take a left onto The Boulevard and drive along the waterfront (on your left), the Boulevard goes over into Camden Head Road. Keep driving for about one kilometer until you see Seaview Ave on your right hand side, the house is on your right.
PARKING: please park on the driveway, the key for the garage is on the kitchen bench in the welcome tray.
KEY LOCATION: the key is left in a secret spot. You will receive the exact location via SMS on the day of arrival around 8.15am.

- Camden Haven River: Perfect for boating, fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, with several picnic spots along the riverbank.
- North Brother Mountain: A short drive from Dunbogan, offering walking tracks to the summit for stunning views of the region.
- Laurieton: Just a few minutes' drive from Dunbogan, Laurieton offers shops, cafés, and a cinema, as well as a scenic riverside location.
- Kew: Another nearby town with attractions such as the Kew Historical Society Museum and the Kew Country Club.
- Crowdy Bay National Park: Located to the south of Dunbogan, this national park offers stunning coastal scenery, walking tracks, and beaches..

Security Deposit

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 300.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks
