Cellar Door Wine Tasting Experience

Relax indoors amongst cosy surrounds within our 'old winery' building, or on our picturesque Wine Deck to take in the country gardens and unique location within the Hunter Valley.

Join one of our excellent Cellar Door hosts, who will tailor each tasting to find your preference amongst our Varietal, Stockhausen & Limited Release Ranges. Each tasting includes a small plate of local cheese and crackers, however we recommend ordering a cheese or charcuterie platter from our Osteria to make this the perfect experience.

Radica - Italian for Briar.

Experience the pinnacle of our portfolio here at Briar Ridge Vineyard. Taste our most premium wines and savour the moment with a nosh of local & imported delicacies.

Our professional team will guide you through a minimum of 8 Single Vineyard wines which showcase the terroir and quality of our estate vineyards in their past & present. Presented in varietal specific glassware from Riedel and paired with either Manchego & flatbread or a selection of canapés, this is the perfect experience for those that want to see the best of Briar Ridge Vineyard.

Picnic Packages.

Looking for a more relaxed way to indulge in our mouth-watering osteria offerings? Come and join us for a delightful winery luncheon amongst our beautiful Wine Garden in the Hunter Valley!

We offer a variety of artisan antipasti, and award-winning wines that can be enjoyed on beanbags & rugs or around barrels on chairs. And during the colder months, you can cozy up by the fireside and enjoy the warmth of our hospitality.

To ensure that you have a memorable experience, we suggest booking in advance and selecting the platters that you would like to indulge in. Each platter comes with a complimentary bottle of wine, so you can sip and savour the best that Hunter Valley has to offer.

Group Wine Tasting

Our venue has been designed to be an intimate yet social space. Limited space is available for group bookings.

Groups of 8-12 people are welcomed by reservation only.

An additional $5 per person will be charged for a group tasting, however a voucher will be provided on the day to redeem this $5 in our cellar door upon the purchase of wine.

VIP Mystery Vineyard Experience includes:

Glass of Traditional Method Signature Sparkling  upon arrival.
Private vineyard tour with a dedicated host to talk through all things Mount View, vineyards and wine.
An 'in-vineyard' wine tasting of Briar Ridge's Limited Release, Single Vineyard & Museum Release wines.
A 'Briar Platter' cheese and charcuterie board perfect for a light lunch.

Dog Friendly.

We believe we’re the most dog friendly Cellar Door in the Hunter Valley! Bring your well behaved fur friends along where they can sit alongside you at your table, freshen up at the ‘pooch hydration station’ or join in the indulgence with our selection of hand-crafted dog treats.

The Osteria Kitchen.

Our space centred around food & wine experiences has been integrated into our Cellar Door. The current offerings are best enjoyed either alongside a Cellar Door wine tasting or as part of a Wine Garden Picnic Package.
