Banksia Park

A recreation park situated by the water, stretching along Crescent Ave, Bert Hood Street and around to Boykambil Esplanade South.

One end of the park features barbecue facilities, picnic shelters, a basketball court and Banksia Park Hall. The other end is a playground and a boat ramp with a jetty facing Coombabah Creek for fishing and boating enthusiasts.

Onsite carparking out the front of the Banksia Park Hall and along Bert Hood Street. Also parking for vehicles with boat trailers is at the end of Boykambil Esplanade South.

Two public toilets are available at each end of the park.

Accessibility

Dog exercise areas

Dogs must be walked on a leash unless otherwise stated and are totally prohibited in all children's playground areas.

City of Gold Coast has numerous areas where you can exercise your dog off leash.
