Cascade Gardens

Cascade Gardens at Broadbeach is a family-friendly spot for picnics, barbecues or a play in the park.

Features serene rainforest walks, with traces of aboriginal culture. Along the river there are barbecues and picnic tables, as well as a waterfront pathway popular with walkers that connects up to the sensory gardens and playground.

In the sensory garden (next to the playground) you’ll find elements including a musical gong, wayfinding design and productive gardens that encourage you to interact with the gardens through sight, touch and smell. The playground includes a flying fox, rope bridge, rock climbing wall and a carousel. There is also a liberty swing available for those needing all abilities access.

There are over 50 parking bays, plus 5 disabled parking spaces located within the park.

A unique feature of Cascade Gardens is the Kokoda Memorial Walk. This includes the Rotary Kokoda Memorial Walk and Queensland Korean War Memorial. The walk was created to help visitors appreciate the courage and determination of the men who fought on the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea during World War II.

Note: Dogs must be walked on leash unless otherwise signed and are totally prohibited in all children's playground areas.

Weddings at Cascade Gardens

Cascade Gardens features a gorgeous purpose-built white rotunda, which provides undercover in case of wet weather, for a small number of guests, this is another one of our most popular parks for weddings and ceremonies, and its central location is close to many reception venues.
