Hollindale Park

A popular destination for families, this park stretches along Macarthur Drive (from opposite John Kemp Street) up to Sea World Drive, where it adjoins Philip Park.

The northern end of park features a playground equipped with a large spider net, a twisted slide, swing set and ring bridge. There is also a shade sail, barbecues and seating areas. Visitors can also find shady spots under the many trees to relax and lay a rug down.

Outdoor showers and drinking fountains are conveniently dispersed along the beach path. There are multiple beach access points and a lookout point.

A second playground is located south of the Southport Surf Lifesaving Club. It includes a large boat themed structure and a sand-based surface. As well as climbing equipment, monkey bars, a ship's wheel, spring rockers, swing set, and a see-saw. More barbecues and picnic facilities can be found here, making it an ideal spot for a family outing.

Car parking is available off MacArthur Parade. There is also on onsite carpark next to the Southport Surf Lifesaving Club.

Public toilets with a parent room is also available in this area.

Dog exercise areas

Dogs must be walked on a leash unless otherwise stated and are prohibited in all children's playground areas.

City of Gold Coast has numerous areas where you can exercise your dog off leash.
