Come and enjoy this grassy campsite located on the outskirts of Canowindra. Canowindra is known as the Hotair Balloon Capital of Australia, most mornings you wake to find a balloon floating in the sky. Venture to the Main Street and see the historic building’s. Canowindra is also home of the Fish Fossil Museum, so much to explore. Campers are welcome to enjoy a campfire, local regulations permitting. Canowindra Country Camp
We stayed for the annual balloon festival in canowindra and this property was not far from town easy to find. We stayed 2 nights with other friends and the kids loved it was able to ride there bikes even seen the balloons go over both days from the camp site. Think we will be back nxt yr.

Great to see a lot more travellers utilising this camp. Our second year in a row and no complaints here. Even had our grandson tag along this year. A1 facilities. See you next year 😍

A very spacious camp very friendly host, Loved the el gas toilet very clean. Also very dog friendly camp. Minutes drive to town

Great location, in beautiful rural setting, busy as expected for balloon weekend. The house pet dogs barking were a bit annoying. Might be worth advising guests about dump point in town so they don’t use toilet as a dump for cassettes. Be good if generator use was during specific hours only. Had a good time and the balloons were magnificent. Thank you for your hospitality
