"Jalum" is a fifty acre property situated between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay and ten minutes from the coast. There are many activities available inc. horseback riding, fishing, bush walking etc. There is a professional riding school which offers tuition for children and adults also trail and beach rides .. Jalum has been a working fish farm (Silver Perch) and the many dams offer good fishing. Home grown fruit, vegetables, herbs and eggs are available (Chemical free) Just a kilometre from the old Mooball trainline! Walk the line and stay at our lovely campsite for the night. We acknowledge and give respect for the traditional owners past, present and future, of the Bunjalum nation.

1 BEDROOM STUDIO WITH ENSUITE
Lovely spacious room. Beautiful part of the world. Karen was lovely and it was a super welcoming place to travel with a dog. Loved all the lamps, plants and candles around the place. Thanks for having us!

Short but sweet stay
Not long enough. We only arrived at 4pm and left by 8am the next morning. But was great and nice and peaceful for the short stay. Loved the curious animals on the property and Karen was extremely helpful and kind. Definitely be back again next time venturing through and keen to get to explore the walking track over the hill to the views of the ocean and headland she mentioned. Only thing will mention is as it is so peaceful and quiet you still are within close enough proximity to the motorway that you can hear cars all evening so you don’t get that absolute complete peace and tranquility moment like you sometimes do when out in ‘nature’

Sweeping meadows
Big area with various spots to choose. Luxury to have access to kitchen, toilet and shower and thankful for the undercover recreation area when the rain was pouring down. Loved all the horses roaming around.

A lovely place to stay
We had a wonderful time at JALUM. Karen was very hospitable and the facilities she provides are excellent. We camped by the pond closest to the house, next to a firepit, and enjoyed the views over the property, the clear night skies, the peace and the horses.

Beautiful spot!!
Me and my boyfriend had the best time staying in our van at Karen’s. Even though we were only there for a night it was such a beautiful experience. We were greeted by the ponies and alpaca in the morning which was so lovely. It was such a calm environment. We will definitely be back and will be telling all our friends too!
