Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

We are located right on the edge of the Macleay river with lots of space for you to camp near the river front, or in the paddock amongst the green flat grass.  Use the camp as a base and head out for a kayak, on the stand up paddle board or simply throw a line in for a spot of fishing. Crabbing is permitted in this area. You need to be fully self-contained with own camping toilet/shower.  Relax around the campfire and help the kids toast marshmallows. The beach is within driving distance, it's 5 minutes to town Drinking water is available. Dogs on leashes welcome. Please note that each booking includes 1 drivable + 1 towable vehicle. If your group has more than 1 drivable vehicle, please book a second site. Absolute riverfront sites. It is very peaceful and private. We loved it and such a beautiful town and coastal location. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful spot and very private. Michael was an excellent host and very accomodating. He's created private nooks separated by thick brush overlooking the water so you feel like you're camping in your own little spot. Bring mozzie coils and repellant because there are some very friendly mosquitoes near the water. It didn't dampen our time her though. It was lovely!

Michael was a friendly host. The property was nice and grassy and well kept. Great spot on the river and 10 mins to south west rocks.

Beautiful camp spot!
Loved this camp spot!! Beautiful part of the word and Michael and Irene own a long strip of property along the river. Most camp spots are private with trees/shrub separating each camp site. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and they owned the two most perfect dogs that sat by the fire with us admiring the sun set and sun rise! We have already recommended this location to our friends and family and will definitely be back soon!

Great location and great host! I went for a kayak in the morning. Lots of mozzies so bring netting.
