Campers will have access to the amenities block with toilets and showers. Power is available. There are several water taps available. The showground is located in the heart of Oberon, a small rural community located just 2.5 hours from Sydney. Situated on a plateau at a height of 1130m above sea level, Oberon is on the western fall of the Blue Mountains. Enjoy the nearby spectacular scenery, Jenolan Caves, alpine lake, Mayfield and other fabulous cool climate gardens. The showground is a short walk to shops and restaurants, pubs and clubs. The Visitors information Centre is conveniently just across the road. Pets welcome on leash and under control.Oberon Showground offers primitive camping on gently sloping sites. Oberon Showground Campsite
Disappointing - Noisy Group.
It would have been better if there were courteous people, there was a large group that had to be asked to keep the noise down twice and when they got tied around 11:30 pm and went to bed I could finally get some sleep. There should be rules around large gatherings and noise. Will most probably will not stay there again.

Oberon Showground Campsite
Great setup at Oberon Showground. We found the place so quiet and peaceful! There is also great support from local business who will deliver take out food! Bonus was being able to watch them training the horses during the day. Facilities were kept clean throughout our stay and there was plenty of space for all!

Excellent campsite
The Oberon Showgrounds is perfect - quite (except for a few cockatoos), clean, power & water, clean toilets and showers.

Oberon Showground Campsite
The Spot
Great camping ground, soft grass, clean amenities, friendly campers. There are a couple of dogs that live close by that can be a bit barky during the night - but apart from that it is a perfect spot. Very central, nice parks and easy access to Jenolan Caves and Mayfield Gardens.

Oberon Showground Campsite
Oberon is a lovely town
I loved the Oberon Showground , clean facilities, plenty of grassy space, plenty of power and water sites split over the grounds. Lovely volunteers Meg and Marg. $20 per night power and water. Close to Jenolan Caves, unfortunately they are closed due to heavy rains atm. Would recommend it to anyone. The autumn leaves are falling here and look so beautiful.
