Site 1 - The Grove
Magical!
We loved it! It was a perfect location for our family adventure to ride the rail trail (you can’t quite get on the trail across the road but the stokers siding station is literally 5 min drive. I was not comfortable letting my kids ride their bikes along the road but it would be fine for adults). They loved the creek and bridge and are already begging to go back there again! It is literally my dream property, so magical for children. Probably a bit stressful if you have toddlers but fantastic for children 5yrs + to play mostly independently with supervision from afar.
We didn’t get to see the highland cows but the alpacas and chooks were friendly.

Site 2 - The Grove
Great camping spot
Camped 1 night on site 2, awesome spot, well kept and we had the whole site to ourselves. The area is quiet, perfect if you are looking to relax and fall asleep at the sound of the creek.
Got to feed the alpacas in the morning 😁 🦙
Will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot
A Beautiful spot so close to the rail trail and with a lovely creek to cool off in after the ride. The site was spacious with plenty of flat areas for tents and trailers and a big fire pit with timber delivered to your site if you want. Our group realy enjoyed our stay.

Site 1 - The Grove
Great for unwinding
Lovely spot to unwind. We loved the birdsong in the morning, much better than your alarm! Well maintained, access to the gazebo and portaloo if needed. Little bit of road noise but otherwise very peaceful. Great place to do nothing or get active riding the rail trail. Advertised as having highland cattle and alpacas, however not sure if they were in a different paddock at the time, but we didn’t see any during our stay. Do recommend.

Site 2 - The Grove
Good base for rail trail
Great spot as a base for doing Rail trail or things around the region. If you're looking to just stay put at camp, probably not the best choice.
Site 2 is more private. Site 1 feels like camping in someone's backyard.
Both sites have access to the toilet so don't let the alert you get RE site 2 on the app scare you.
Area and toilets all very clean and well maintained.
