Stoney Creek is on 70 acres, in the middle of the national park, and offers campers a beautiful mixture of rainforested areas and clear grassed paddocks, just 1 hour from Newcastle. It's very peaceful here, with options for bushwalking and birdwatching. Creeks run through the property, providing some lovely areas to explore. Stoney Creek is also the closest property to the famous Grandis - the biggest tree in NSW! There are portable toilet facilities available. Showers are made available by appointment only. Please ask. Large swimming lagoon for the kids - please just ensure they are supervised around the dam at all times. Dogs welcome.New campgrounds with options for sunny or shady sites, suitable for swags, tents, caravans, motorhomes etc. All types of camping set ups! Helpful Hosts are available to provide local knowledge and info on the area. The area is very quiet, with plenty of space to find your own private nook, which you are welcome to choose on arrival.

Big grassy sites
A great spot. Large grassy camping area in a very central spot easy drive to beaches, shops and pubs. Our dog loved the freedom and grass to chase the ball. Very clean toilets and Knowla was delightful. Very friendly and welcoming campers to her lovely property . Highly recommended

Wonderful stay - will be back
My family & I had a great stay at this amazing location. The whole space was kept very tidy, with porta loos on site. Knowla was incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond for all guests. Waking up to the horses roaming about the property added a beautiful touch to our mornings.

100% recommend
Spectacular spot, wide open, flat ground, but on different levels so lots of space and private nooks. The miniature ponies are very friendly and came to say hello. Would absolutely stay here again, Knowla was a very friendly host, and had thought of everything - hammocks, firepits, fresh water drinking containers, lots of seating options for around a fire. The lilpond/lagoon is gorgeous and we loved the animals roam free.

Stoney Creek Camping
The campground was amazing, big, flat areas to camp and not be near people. There were 4 or 5 other families near us and all the kids played together on the play equipment provided by Knowla and had plenty of room to run around. There’s firewood everywhere so no problems making a fire to cook and cozy up by.
