Visit Us

Our Holm Oak Wines Cellar Door is situated in the Tamar Valley, a comfortable 40-minute drive from Launceston.

In April, we will open on a Saturday (27 April) for complimentary wine flights at Cellar Door.  Bec will also host tours of the winery at 11am and 1pm.  Don’t miss out – book now.

Come and enjoy a taste of our wines by the fire, settle in for a picnic featuring local gourmet produce and don’t forget to feed our resident General Manager Pinot d’Pig and his friends Pinot Junior and Mayonnaise. They love it when you show them some love and throw them an apple or two to enjoy.

There’s a range of award-winning wines on offer, with bookable wine tasting flights guiding you through a journey of discovery. We specialise in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, along with other varietals at home in our surrounding, like Arneis, Cabernet Franc, Riesling and Pinot Gris.

We are open Monday to Friday* from 10am until 4pm. Bookings are very much preferred.

Cancellation policy: Reservations are fully refundable up to 1 hour prior to the booking time.

Happy Drinkers

Brett

"Our best cellar door tasting experiences in Tassie. Our visit this year was a cold & slightly damp day in late June. There was no one else there & the fire was on! I’m a wine club member there but we spent over 2 hours throughly enjoying the wines & ourselves. I can’t recommend it too highly."

Sarah

"Highly recommend visiting. The drive in is beautiful. Beautiful vineyard, exceptional service. Yummy cheese and wine. Highly recommend! And the pigs are a bonus!"

Margaret N

"We were taken to the Holm Oak winery by locals who love their wines, and we agree. The vineyard has a lovely feel, with the sensory garden and the open space at the bottom of the hill. We visited on a Sunday so we were fortunate to talk with the winemaker, who showed us her extensive range of wines."

Rachel A

"Highly recommend visiting. The drive in is beautiful. Beautiful vineyard, exceptional service. Yummy cheese and wine. Highly recommend! And the pigs are a bonus!"

Bec

"This winery is much more than just its great wines. The tasting was excellent, but it was the whole experience that kept us there for hours. We fed the pigs, wandered around the sensory garden eating its delights and made our own charcuterie board for lunch. The service was absolutely excellent as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!"

Jose A

"Be sure to stop here. We were vineyard hopping and were advised to come here by the local lavender man and boy did it not disappoint. You can make your own charcuterie board and put all sorts of stuff on it. Lovely wine for the wife and a bit of fun feeding the happy piggies apples. 👌👌👍👍"
