Speers Point Park is the city's premier recreation space featuring open space, shared pathways, a paved promenade, a fenced dog exercise area and the all-abilities Lake Macquarie Variety Playground.
Individual areas or the whole park is available for hire for events, in addition to the promenade, open shelters, stage and Heritage Shed. Please read our terms and conditions for hiring a park prior to requesting a booking.
Areas within the park, open shelter and stage are available for hire for wedding ceremonies, parties, company picnics, reunions and many other activities. Hire is required when use of jumping castles, animal farms, amusement rides or if professional catering is supplied.
Bookings are not taken for BBQ shelters or other smaller shelters within the park.
Fees will be calculated by Council staff and provided to you after we've received your booking.
