You’ll find this pretty campground nestled between the beach and the bush.  Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, tents and camper trailers; Gillards Beach campground is the perfect weekend getaway for families and small groups alike.

When you’ve set up your campsite, there’s plenty to do nearby. Take a refreshing walk along the sandy beach or set up stumps for a game of beach cricket. Remember to bring your fishing rod along – there are some great spots to sink a line and you’ll be able to cook your catch up for dinner on the camp barbecue.

In the evening, be sure to keep your eyes peeled and have your torch handy; you might spot a potoroo or two – they look a little bit like a small kangaroo or bandicoot. When you’re ready to retire for the evening, the sound of the waves crashing nearby is sure to lull you in to a peaceful sleep.
