A vehicle entry fee of $4 per vehicle/motorcycle per hour applies to Captain Cook lookout, Cosy Corner, and The Pass. There are pay and display machines that accept cash and credit cards.

Palm Valley lawn is a charming palm enclosure on the far north coast of NSW. This dreamy location showcases all that Byron Bay is renowned for—magnificent beaches, beautiful views, a temperate climate and relaxed atmosphere. It’s no wonder Byron Bay is one of Australia’s most popular wedding locations.
Celebrate your special day on the lawn, shaded by the surrounding lush bangalow palm rainforest. Take in all this magical seaside spot has to offer, as you exchange vows to the sound of ocean waves rolling in on the sand and the smell of the sea.
Just a stone’s throw away, the turquoise Pass Beach provides the perfect canvas for photos after the ceremony. There’s also magnificent whale watching opportunities during whale season.
This idyllic location is a terrific base for exploring the stunning Cape Byron precinct. Currenbah walking track will take you through lush coastal rainforest, with plenty of birdwatching opportunities along the way. A longer walk will lead you up over the hill to Wategos Beach, and all the way to Cape Byron Lighthouse.
If you and your guests are eager to explore some more, why not stay inside the national park? Choose from the award-wining Mildenhall Cottage or Partridge Cottage and Geoffs Shed that sit right on the beach. If you prefer, enjoy a stay at the heritage-listed Assistant Lighthouse Keepers' Cottages and treat yourself to panoramic views of the dramatic coastline.

Park info
- in Cape Byron State Conservation Area in the North Coast region
- Cape Byron State Conservation Area is open all hours, but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.
- Cape Byron Lighthouse lawn is open 8am to sunset.
- The Maritime Museum in the former Lighthouse Keeper’s office at the base of the lighthouse is open 10am to 4pm daily.
- Opening before 8am for events or disabled access can be arranged by prior notice – contact NPWS Byron Bay office during business hours 02 6639 8300.

Park entry fees:
Cape Byron Lighthouse lawn and Information Centre: $10 per vehicle per hour/$4 per hour motorcycles. Maximum 1 hour per vehicle per calendar day, including all NPWS annual passholders.
Captain Cook lookout, Cosy Corner, and The Pass: $5 per vehicle/motorcycle per hour. Tap and pay card or phone payments accepted at pay machines. Cash and credit cards accepted at Cape Byron Information Centre.
Coach entry: $30 per coach up to 30 seats; $57 per coach 31 to 43 seats; $94 per coach 44 seats and over.
