    Loved the seasonal menu with excellent number and variety of choices and taking advantage of locally sourced food. Drinks menu also great with plenty of choice. Service was unsurpassed. Friendly, informative and with great timing. One of our favourites in the Adelaide Hills.

    Server friendly, interested and helpful. Food well presented, starters varied in portion size significantly eg scallops 2, lamb ribs 4, tempura eggplant a large bowl. All delicious. We had one main beef ribs also recommended. Dessert a disappointment - chocolate fondant, think sludgy circular 1cm high brownie.

    We enjoyed the food and wine is lovely, however the service was very poor. Not one staff ever smiled or looked like they wanted to be there, took 25mins to get a bottle of wine and menus. When you are in an a la carte menu the service needs to match the environment and food standards. Need to train staff!!!!!

    This is the 3rd time to Sidewood, and 3 out of 3 for everything. Leanne was our hostess, and she was so helpful, welcoming & informative and simply lovely. Food was divine, could not fault the food. I would highly recommend both the restaurant and the tasting room. The tastings was amazing with Jess as our tasting expert. Our whole lunch experience was 10/10.

    Delicious food. Staff very helpful but not intrusive Lovely artwork and decor Not cheap, but still great value as quality is so good. Was a wonderful birthday treat!

    The service was terrible and I had to ask at least three different staff anytime we wanted a drink, food or the bill and as we were only a party of 2 we were not a priority and had drink orders taken and forgotten as well.

    A stunning setting with an incredible menu. Everything is done very well here. The restaurant was bustling yet our meal delivery was prompt. Would absolutely recommend and be a return diner!
