ERTHWRX24 - event august - 9TH-10TH-11TH 2024

ABOUT

ERTHWRX24 is an inaugural community event involving panel talks, exhibitions, performances, installations and workshops presented during National Science Week 2024. The place based program will focus on environmentalism reflected between the nexus of science, arts and culture. ERTHWRX24 offers a holistic understanding of land, one that appreciates the earth as a living, breathing entity from which human existence emerges, including the scientific, social, cultural, historical, political and activist discourses that mark the land. Collaborators involved in the program include the creative industries, cultural knowledge holders, adventurers, science and media professionals. Join to discuss global and local perspectives that reflect climate concerns and solutions. Panel topics are focused on flora, fauna, habitat and soil health, renewables, circular economies, traditional medicine, cultural knowledge systems, land and water sustainability, and ocean micro-plastic research.
