Our Story
Emma and Tegan are the young business women behind Providence Farm Hall. In 2017 following the legalisation of same sex marriage they realised they no longer had to move to NZ to live out their dream wedding! After getting married in 2018 at Providence Farm Hall, Emma and Tegan realised how important it was to create an inclusive country wedding venue that celebrates all love!
Over the past four years Emma and Tegan have poured their hearts and souls into restoring and renovating this beloved piece of Beechmont history. They are excited to welcome couples not only from the LGBTQ+ community but from all beliefs and backgrounds into their space.

History
Providence Farm Hall is an award winning, family-owned and run wedding venue that sits upon the mountain tops of the Scenic Rim. The McKenzie family have farmed here for five generations and in the last few years have started hosting a select few weddings. The hall also has a rich history, its walls and dance floor have seen hundreds of celebrations over the past 76 years. Weddings, bush dances, music festivals, theatre, art shows and birthday parties are just a few of the events that have been held here over the years.
The McKenzie family along with other local families on the mountain were involved in constructing the hall in the 1940s and have been a part of its rich history ever since. The land was originally donated by the McKenzie family in the 1940s so that the community could build the biggest and best hall in the district. In recent years the McKenzie family bought the Hall and the land back off the Beechmont community. It is their dream to continue to create new memories.
