MOAMA LIGHTS IS RETURNING!

5 - 28 July 2024

Heading into its fourth year, Moama Lights invites you to embark on an extraordinary journey through sound and light.

Crafted by the renowned design studio Mandylights, this year's theme ‘Enchanted Nights: A Celebration of Light’ honors the captivating beauty of Horseshoe Lagoon.

Nestled amidst the wintery beauty of Horseshoe Lagoon, this year's event transforms the natural splendor into a mesmerizing spectacle as twilight descends. Inspired by Banjo Paterson's evocative poem "The Daylight is Dying," the show will capture elements of nature that come to life when the sun sets allowing the vibrant night-time ecosystem of the Lagoon to shine through. From illuminated ripples dancing on the water's surface to the projection of children's artworks onto the landscape, every element showcases tales of the bushland's mysteries.

Wander at your leisure along the illuminated path, meandering towards the historic Moama Wharf enveloped by majestic river redgums, while the tranquil sounds of the lagoon serenade you.

Running over 4 weekends in July, from Thursday to Sunday, with tickets sold for specific session times. And for those seeking an extra thrill, ice skating returns alongside the main event—so lace up your skates and join the festivities, as the crisp winter air fills with laughter and wonder.

The American beer garden is set to make a triumphant return, inviting you to sip on your favorite brews. So sit back, relax, and immerse yourself in the embrace of winter while enjoying the festivities.
