The Young Society of Artists Incorporated (YSA) was formed in 1982. The Burrangong Gallery is housed in the Young Visitors’ Centre at the Old Railway Station in Lovell Street, and is open seven days a week.

YSA is a non-profit organisation that strives to encourage and promote public awareness and appreciation of fine art.

The Annual Cherry Festival Competitive Art Exhibition and the Annual Lambing Flat Festival Art Exhibition are our major exhibitions. These are held in the Hilltops Council Town Hall located on Boorowa Street in Young.

Exhibitions at Burrangong Gallery are changed monthly. Guest artists are invited along with members’ work, for display and sale.

The Monday Art Group meets in the Southern Cross Hall at the back of the Southern Cross Cinema (use rear entrance from Young Services Club car park), from 11am to 7pm (school terms), for a gold coin donation.

Interested people are invited to join the YSA to help support the gallery and the arts in the Hilltops region of Young, Boorowa and Harden. You don’t have to be a local or an artist, simply be interested in arts and culture. Membership is $30 per annum or a ‘Friend of the Gallery’ is $10 per annum.

Many exciting workshops are planned for each year.  See our Calendar of News Blog pages for details, or “like” our facebook page.

New members or curious visitors are welcome!
