The kids disappeared to play tennis, mini golf, table tennis or snooker there are is so much to do and see or dont do a thing. Its just amazing.
This gem has everything if your cooking for many and every utensil you could need in the kitchen. The fireplace is perfect, kept us warm all weekend it was THE perfect getaway and we will return.

There are many areas at the retreat for every guest of all ages to enjoy.
Bedrooms all have spectacular views of the mountains and bush and are spacious with modern bathrooms.
We had visits from many animals and its a treat to see them up close.
Jenny and Malcolm were wonderful hosts who made everything run smoothly with our booking and still followed up on our arrival.

  The only issue that we had with Banjo's was that it should have been longer. Every detail has been (extremely) well considered for your stay - including the things you... read more forgot - so that made the stay very comfortable. It was quite surreal to walk into the cabin (we stayed in Swagman's rest) and step from wild bushland surrounded by curious fauna - into an upmarket retreat.

Two huge bedrooms, each with ensuite, all immaculately laid out. Every pillow, cup, utensil, commodity in a logical place - extremely clean. Reassuring messages everywhere to assure the place is thoroughly prepared between each guest. Jenny followed up multiple times to make sure everything was ready and ok with our stay - you don't usually get communication like that these days.

We stayed for a few days just on site before we needed to go in search of food (you must bring all of your supplies!!). It was great to slow down and just walk through the bushland or enjoy the rec centre, which was a favourite with the kids. We then ventured further north to the Allyn River for some wild swimming. Shame to leave. Great times.

We spent the... read more day playing tennis, putt putt golf, visiting the beautiful nearby lagoon then cooled off in the pool which is about a 10min walk up the hill. The kids fed the kangaroos and wallabies each late afternoon on the deck, which they said was the highlight of the trip!
