Our Still

Our hand beaten German copper still was created by a fourth generation family run business not far from the Black Forest in Germany. The epicenter of many fine European spirits. This still is specially designed to capture the essences of fresh botanicals and to create a refined and sophisticated spirit.

The Distillery

Nestled above Impression Bay at Premaydena, Tasmania. Hidden on the shores of the Norfolk Bay on the breathtaking Tasman Peninsula - a place of historic significance on many levels. In the foreground are Tasmanian botanicals that are used in distillation.

Take in panoramic views over Impression Bay and the surrounding rural countryside and, on a clear day, across to Mount Wellington / Kunanyi above Hobart In the far distance.

Visiting Impression Bay

All are welcome to visit Impression Bay but by appointment only. Ring (03) 62503183. Our indoor tasting area is where you can rest in century old chairs originally crafted for the Tasmanian Museum board room in Hobart. There is also an outside tasting area taking in the surrounding views.

Michael makes an incredible gin and his facilities are second-to-none! Also of note is the beautiful design that adorns each and every bottle. Even if you're not a religious gin drinker, it's a lovely souvenir of Tasmania's natural beauty.
