MEETINGS
Our next meeting is on Thursday 11 April at the School of Arts starting at 2pm. The speaker is Dr Virginia Furner, an experienced lecturer who has visited over 60 military museums worldwide and noted the advances in medicine and patient care made as a consequence of warfare. Her presentation is on Florence Nightingale & the contribution she made to nursing. We welcome visitors and new members. Entry is $5.00 which includes our home cooked afternoon tea. Carss Cottage Museum is open every Sunday from 1pm to 5pm. Bring your children, they love it and can do a quiz while they look – free entry for them, $5.00 adults.
