Experience the first producing truffle farm in the country. Learn about the history of truffles from the pioneering family, and hear the story of how they were first grown here in Australia. Join second generation truffle farmer Anna, and her truffle hunting dogs and dig up some magic of your own.

Our farm hosts both summer and winter truffles, as a result, we are busy harvesting our truffles across the summer and autumn months.
Join us for our signature truffle hunting experience, where you’re invited to unearth a truffle with your own hands. Follow your hunting experience with a fresh truffle pizza amongst the truffle trees, accompanied by your choice of a glass of Tasmanian wine or beer. Enjoy this 2-hour-long experience and soak in the afternoon sun on a picnic rug, by the fire pit or under cover in our open tour shed and enjoy the reward of your truffle hunt (fresh truffle shaved on top of a cheese pizza).

TRUFFLE HUNT

Join the truffle dogs on a hunt for rare black truffles. This 1 hour and 15 minute experience provides insight on all things truffle and takes you into the trufferie to unearth a truffle with your own hands. After unearthing hidden treasure, you are invited to a simple tasting of our truffle products. This experience is for those who just want the truffle story, a hunt but no lunch.
TRUFFLE HUNTING AND LUNCH

Join the truffle dogs on a hunt for rare black truffles. This 2 hour experience takes you into the trufferie to unearth truffles with your own hands, followed by a generous truffle tasting, including one of our signature three-cheese fresh truffle toasted sandwiches. Plus, choose a Tasmanian Wine or beer to complement. Afterwards, during our truffle grading demonstration, enjoy our very own truffle ice cream for dessert.

WINTER WARMER HUNT

Join the truffle dogs on a hunt for rare black truffles, followed by an afternoon delight to warm your heart and hands amongst the truffle trees. Enjoy the crackle of our fire pit while you fuel your soul with a fresh truffle pizza and a tasting of all our truffle products, accompanied by your choice of a glass of Tasmanian wine or beer. Enjoy this 2 hour experience and soak in the Tasmanian winter with a marshmallow by the fire pit or under cover in our open tour shed.

VISIT THE FARM GATE SHOP
The Truffle Farm is a farmgate shop, open to the public. You can purchase products and fresh truffles and learn a little about the history of Australia's first black truffle.
The shop is open daily from 10am to 4pm.
